Location
Northeast Georgia History Center (Google Map)
Information

The History Center is proud to present the New Gainesville Chautauqua: a summer series of Living History Character performances taking place at our regular Forums during the months of June, July, and August.

Over its storied past America has produced a diverse array of icons - both famous and infamous - who represent different aspects of its culture and history. This summer we take a look at three very different, but equally illuminating and fascinating, American icons.

This month meet Tallulah Bankhead: actress, libertine, and one of the most remarkable and flamboyant women of the 20th century.

Admission is $5, Members get in free!

Please Note: There was a misprint of this event's subject and date in the June 8 edition of Get Out from the Gainesville Times... the correct time and subject are as listed above.
