New Gainesville Chautauqua - The Rugged Pathway: Beulah Rucker

Date & Time
August 14th, 2018 6:30 PM

The theme for the Northeast Georgia History Center's 2018 Chautauqua season is "Women of the Years", exploring the stories of three fascinating Georgia women - the American Revolution Loyalist Elizabeth Johnston, founder of the Girl Scouts of America Juliet Gordon Lowe, and Gainesville's pioneering African American educator Beulah Rucker. These three very different women overcame difficulties both personal and public as they left their marks on family, community, and nation. We hope you join us as we meet these engaging Georgia Women of the Years!

Join us on August 14 to hear Chiara Richardson as Beulah Rucker, a Gainesville African American Educator.

Doors open at 6:30 PM

Show starts at 7:00 PM
