No trip to the Northeast Georgia History Center would be complete without a visit to our unique gift shop.  From private label jams, jellies and relishes to handcrafted jewelry, glass objects and textiles, there is something to satisfy every need.  The kids will love our large selection of toys, puzzles, and children’s books.

Books

The books featured in our gift shop span a wide variety of subjects including history, photo essays, cooking, humor, and ecology.  Many of our books are written by north Georgia authors including Gordon Sawyer, Phil Jackson, Zell Miller, Jim Chapman, John Burrsion, Linda Rucker Hutchens, Ella Wilmont-Smith, and Steve Gurr.

Folk Pottery

Folk pottery plays a major role in the history of north Georgia, and it has a prominent place in our gift shop. Our traditional, modern and contemporary pieces represent many north Georgia potting families such as the Hewells, the Meaders, and the Cravens, as well as Michael Crocker, Dwayne Crocker, Steve Turpin, Bob Westervelt, and the ladies of Gourdcraft Originals.

Stop by for a little piece of north Georgia for yourself or that special someone.
